Concept Introduction: 

Performance on subtests can be one way to identify a need to do a deeper dive with DA.   

• The Rhyming subtest from the Assessment of Literacy and Language (ALL) was given to a 6 year-old child. Note: The clinician read the stimulus items instead of using the ALL digital recording to capture the sound for the demonstration videos. 
• The 6 year-old child demonstrated some difficulty on the generating rhymes tasks. 
• The child demonstrated some difficulty on the generating rhymes tasks. 
• A within-session DA was used to teach, then retest, the skill of generating rhymes.
